Pond Specifications for a
Kidney-shaped Pond |

You will need to have a minimum of three times the land as the
finished pond will be. For example, a 1/2 acre pond requires a
minimum of 1-1/2 acre of cleared land for construction. This
allows for the required clearances and distribution of dirt.
Depth is standard 15 feet unless a deeper pond is
constructed to obtain additional dirt.
